The hike begins gently along the Bisse de Vex towards the Mayens de Sion. At the end of the bisse, continue uphill along the road until you reach a place called Bon accueil. Then, at the bend, follow the path towards Hérémence. You cross this beautiful village, famous for its church with its modern architecture which contrasts with the rest of the village with its traditional charm of the Valais. Take the second street below the church to continue the hike to the Dixence river, which you should cross via the Letévèno bridge.
Once on the right bank of the Val des Dix, you begin a short climb of a good hundred metres to reach the bisse d'Euseigne before descending towards the village of the same name, known for its natural pyramids created by erosion.
