The departure point is in front of the tourist office. The walk starts by going down the main road to the old quarters of the village of Veysonnaz. The path then passes in front of the church, continues down to the last houses of Veysonnaz before joining the Bisse de Salins. Once on the bisse, follow it for about 3 kilometres towards Beuson. The path takes you through the dry meadows characteristic of the Clèbes and Verrey before entering the forest.

The climb towards Clèbes begins quite steeply becoming gentler at the end. This charming hamlet burnt down in 1904 and was rebuilt in "stone". After the chapel, the climb, which is more challenging, continues on the Chemin de Croix. You finally reach the Bisse de Vex which brings you back to Veysonnaz.
