Perfect walks for all abilities, the bisses are, historically, irrigation channels with a very gentle slope that allowed water to be transported from the mountain streams at the base of the valley to the villages on the surrounding hillsides to water their crops

The bisses shuttle bus

Take the shuttle bus from Veysonnaz to Nendaz to visit two different bisses in one walk. The outward leg is by bus and the return leg is on foot.
