This two-way trail links Chalais to the Arche des Crétillons. It shows the low-lying landscape and the importance of farming in maintaining open environments. At each signpost, a little game for children (aged over 10) adds to the fun of the walk. A 7km loop takes you along 3 different educational paths back to the starting point: via Chalais, via Le Ricard and via Réchy.
This walk is a great opportunity to enjoy the natural riches of the Crétillons site. Closely linked to ancestral pastoral activities, the natural meadows and steppes of the surrounding area are of great ecological and scenic value. Young and old alike can admire the animals scattered around the site before taking a well-deserved break at the farm's refreshment bar.
