Patron Saint's Day - Veysonnaz

In the Valais, each village is protected by a "Patron Saint" who is celebrated with dignity by the parishioners. In Veysonnaz, Saint Mary Help of Christians is thus honoured every year at the end of May during a spring Sunday placed under the sign of gathering and exchange.
Event has ended
The patronal feast begins with a religious service in the village church, during which all the jubilee couples are also celebrated.
An aperitif is offered to the population at the end of the ceremony.
There reigns a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.
