Rising to 2,491 metres above sea level, Mont-Rouge offers a stunning view of the Valais.

Mont-Rouge, famous for its red soil and its cross, is a mountain in the Valais Alps and is located between Mont-Carré and Mont-Loéré. From the top of its 2,491 metres, it offers hikers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Rhone Valley and the Bernese Alps on the one side and the Gouilles d'Essertze and the Val d'Hérens with the Dent Blanche and the Dent d'Hérens on the other.
