According to the directives of the State Council of the Canton of Valais of 29 December 2021 in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, gatherings in the street of more than 15 people are not allowed from 31 December at 18:00 to 1 January 2022 at 06:00.
Therefore, the torchlight procession can take place but the torchlight walk and the mulled wine at the end of the procession are cancelled.
The fireworks at midnight are still on and will be visible from all parts of the resort.
