Regional Valais OJ ski races Final

Sporting events Free

Veysonnaz is proud to support the next generation of alpine skiers and is looking forward to hosting the Regional Valais OJ ski finals to crown the end of this beautiful season.

08:00 - 15:30

The OJ brings together the local junior ski racing competitors aged between 12 and 16 years old. These young athletes are divided into eight regional groups throughout the Valais, headed by Ski Valais. They undergo intensive training throughout the year in the hope of one day reaching a national level. Team spirit and camaraderie are very much in evidence despite the fact that dowmhill skiing remains an individual sport. One never progresses alone, which is why the final has an aspect that goes beyond pure competition. This day celebrates the end of the season and the passion for skiing for all young people and their families. The race is special because it combines different disciplines as competitors race down the Cheminée ski slope and the piste de l'Ours.
Veysonnaz offers an ideal setting for this competition and welcomes these finals with professionalism and above all pleasure, in a festive spirit, with food stands and entertainment.
