The French speaking part of the Valais is introducing the taxed dustbin bag as from the 1st of January 2018. The majority of the reigns of Switzerland are already using this system.
As from the 1st of January 2018, only the white bags illustrated by the slogan « Trier ? C’est pas sorcier ! » can be placed in the household rubbish collection bins. Controls will take place and anybody not respecting this new rule will be fine.
Each 35 litre bag costs CHF 1,90. They can be purchased in a roll or individually from the shops in Veysonnaz, from your accommodation provider or from the Tourist Information Office.
13 symbols are printed on these bags. They represent the various types of rubbish which must be sorted and not included in a household rubbish bag. In our district, you can find a refuge 'écopoint' station allowing you to sort of these types of rubbish at Route de Salins-Veysonnaz, as you leave the village of Veysonnaz towards Salins. Other écopoints' in the resort and in the village allow you to sort paper, cardboard, glass and household rubbish. The waste disposal site collects green waste from April to November.
Trier ? C’est pas sorcier ! ( Sorting? It isn't complicated!) Thanks for your collaboration
